| Racy Ol' Lady   |  Re: Sabot Saloon IX Here too. Between the cold and his intelligence, Max doesn't even ask to go out. He went back to bed. His bed is queet size - our guest bed. He sleeps there, head on the pillow. I believe he's spoiled. Our retired priest came by yesterday, bring communion. It's always good to see him. He's doing well, but priests are busier after retirement these days than one can believe. I hope the shortage will be overcome there.

| Snake-eater   | Re: Sabot Saloon IX There is a shortage of priests nation wide. Fewer people are getting ordained so the supply of new ones is tight. Here in NY they have shut down some underused churches and reassigned the priests to other parishes, that's where some of the extra priests are coming from.

| Racy Ol' Lady | Re: Sabot Saloon IX The Catholic church is growing so fast, and the number of priests seems to be disappearing steadily. I hate it when a church is closed; that's such a discouraging thing.
