We don't have extremes in weather here (for the most part), but the seasons are definite.

That was one of Jen's dislikes about being stationed in Hawaii - the lack of seasons.

That's one of the things I wouldn't like there, too - and the same In Florida. My mother loved skipping winter, but I wouldn't want to do that. Like you, I love the four seasons. Convenience isn't necessary, but I do like things to roll along in their steady, and appointed paces.
