Leo staggers in, holding his head in his hands. Dear God...how many noisy toys can one grandparent GIVE to a 5 year old? He sits down under the mistletoe, but someone forgot to put it above a table, so he's on the floor.

Maybe I'll just curl up here.

Mini-Me made out like a friggin BANDIT! Enough Barbies to make a platoon of Marines happy, too many Dora's to count, a Barbie guitar, complete with attached microphone so she can sing "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" in stereo to a rockin beat...and that's just from ONE grandparent!

But, I got my gift cards to Barnes and Noble. My next day off of work (Thursday or Friday) Leo's goin shoppin!

Glad everyone had a great Christmas.

Now, where's the damn tylenol?

You're going to want to break that guitar after a while. I got one for my Grandie last year and Jen's been sending it over with her when I babysite. Dang her anyway! That's not fair!!!

Yeah...I thought about leaving it at Grandpa's, but Mini-Me wouldn't leave without it. Who've thunk that a 5 year old could be so strong to hold on to a door frame like that. Probably would have just kept pulling, but the neighbors were starting to come out to see what was going on.

I'm already ready to break it.

She also got one of those V-Cast thingies. Looks like the original Nintendo system. Now I gotta get a bunch of cartridges for it. Also got a karyoke machine...that works without a cord. Takes 6 "C" batteries. Damn, and I only have 4.

Leo, from his floorside perch, notices one of Ms. Boop's Christmas garters which must have broken off. He pockets it as he curls up under WM's blanket, all warm and toasty. He makes sure there are plenty of pens scattered around him for Connie to "find" later.

And she wonders why he just watches. You find all sorts of great things when you just observe.
