When I cook it sometimes it will burn my face. Reminds me of CBR warfare training. GAS!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!

It can pretty much spice up anything, so I cook mild then add the relish.
I'm pretty much the same since my Father was from Texas and I grew up on spicy food through him. My Mother (Irish) couldn't tolerate it so that's where I learned how to modify recipes. My Father and I would sit in the living room and watch football games on Sundays and our snacks were jalapeno peppers, jalapeno cheese, a bottle of Tequila or Mescale, cooler of beer and some crackers on the side. At half time we would have bowls of five alarm chili and enjoy our time together.

Sorry for the delay. Barkeep is not really my forte'. I was 'foodsitting'.

Here is the Balsamic Vinaigrette I made for the beet salad.
Thanks for the lager, Ed. That recipe looks good.

I enjoy Shepherds Pie and also a good Steak and Kidney Pie. If they are done well, they have a fantastic flavor. Australia also has many good dinner pies and they are a treat that most people here are unaware of. I went for breakfast at the Smithfield Market in London and ordered the breakfast, which was so much that it would have fed me for three days. It had a portion of Shepherd's Pie, Steak, Pork chops, Sausage, Bacon, Chips and a salad on the side. I could have killed myself eating all that.

I love the Mid East Shepherds Pie too - I'll find that recipé and post it, if possible. I'd forgotten about it. And Steak and Kidney Pie - Oh I love that! Solwyn used to make small ones for me, when she was working in the Pub here in Cambridge. I make them, too.

Paul, that breakfast sounds like a feast! I've had breakfast in England too, and it is a big meal - a delightful meal!

I should post my shepherds pie recipe too. The more the merrier. It's one that I tweaked for my son's birthday dinner when he requested that.
