Been on the phone all morning, trying to get in touch with IL State Board Of Nursing! Been trying for over TWO weeks now! All I get is a busy signal - every damned time.

Very, very, very, very, very, very frustrating!

Haven't heard anything from both places I interviewed at (well, technically, only one place. The other was a walk in and not exactly an itnerview. Besdies, they need more infromation and paperwork from me... and the recruiter is also out of town for 2 weeks).

Still calling up the other folks in the area. Bromenn (a local hospital) called back - I might be hearing of an interview soon.

Need to call up my school and make sure they sent over my information to the verification authority - I have a feeling they forgot to send my transcripts. Why do I have to keep following up and nagging people to do their JOBS properly? It's not like I'm asking for a favour or something extra or on the side --- this is part and parcel of their job descriptions!

Incredibily annoying.

That's okay, John. Sometimes a rant is in order, and sometimes it helps. Why not have a drink and some music and relax as much as you can? It may help, and it can't hurt.

That's for sure. Only it's the witching hour for me, and I reckon I better close up here and get to bed. Up early tomorrow I HOPE! and off to the Western Shore until some time Friday afternoon.
