| Head Mouse Trainer ![]() | All; Just a quick thread to discuss the saloon and which method you guys prefer. I have it set so that currently each day someone starts a new thread but that could get kinda tedious so I was wondering if you would prefer to keep it as is or start numbered threads suck as Sabot Saloon #32 etc etc and once each gets to the 999 posts we could close it and start a new one. We need an official Sabot Saloon Barkeep (or 2 or 3) I think if we do that route, what do you guys think? Also, the saloon will never leave, unless we are taken over by microsoft and they offer a large amount of moola So dont worry about that ![]() |

| Icing Queen ![]() | In prefer going 1-999. It'd be easier to reply to someone that way.

| Racy Ol' Lady ![]() | I was wondering if running it by the week would be better, but 1-999 sounds good. The only possible problem would be if 999 comes in the middle of a conversation, in which case maybe we could finish that and then start the new thread. Just that much flexibility. Or, if it ends the day high in the 990's, start the next thread the next morning. Anth is right, Paul, Anth and I are usually first on board. Sometimes Beast beats us in, of course.

| Monkey Mouse ![]() | I like the way it is now with a thread a day, but will go with the consensus. Quote:

| Banned ![]() | My personal feeling is this ... I like a continuous flow of dialogue which is what the orginal Saloon represented. Cyberfriends getting together with cyberdrinks and laughing a little, sharing a little, caring a lot - that's what I think of when I think of the Saloon that Dad and SeO first started way back when. So, I definitely like the 1-999 idea better than the day-to-day threads. I don't get on every day any more, so when I can, having that continuum lets me "catch up" with what my cyberfriends/personalities have been up to and not feel quite so left behind. BUT, I also have to say, I DO NOT like the subforum format for the Saloon. Now, that may be just because I am basically lazy and don't want to have to jump from one forum to another to interact with people since my time is valuable and at a premium since I am an "in recovery" Trackpads "chat addict" . |

| Banned ![]() | I don't like it day by day... I think one month at time is better... Or 1-999... There will be a lot more hits, and it will be easier to to check previous posts... The way it is right now, the saloon is losing popularity, and will continue to do so... I like the idea about the barkeeps... However, they must be of legal age to sell alcohol... If not, it may be interpreted as contributing/encouraging... For instance, a 17 or 18 year old frequents or visits the saloon... See's the bras and panties flying... Listens to our funning and joking... We all know that's in jest, but are we influencing a young mind??? I know it's funny to us... Influencing is a key word...
