Yes, it's interesting. But studying - or just reading - about the Lenin and Stalin years, would be depressing to many. Just remembering so much of it can be, too.

One of the women I worked with at Grace was Lithuanian. What was done to her country as a result of being swallowed by that lot was terrible. The same sort of thing that Saddam did in Iraq in killing so many Kurds. Slightly different methods; same outcome.
