'The Democrat Party has been hijacked by the Left' was essentially what was said today on FNC by representatives of a new action group.
So the trickle down effect has started to make it's way down to the voting Democrat.
Some several prominent now-exiled Democrats over the last few years have made that very observation. Also a smattering of such questioning has also shown up on various talk shows.
Hopefully the information and words coming from members of their own party will wake up many more Democrats to the Socialist corruption exhibited by the current Demercrat leadership of what once was The "Democratic Party".
The Democrat party has never been to the right of center politically, but since the late 1960's it has continuously slide further and further to the Left.
The major portion of that shift to the Left has been driven and prodded by a collection of openly Socialist members of the House and Senate.
Since they represent the actual power base in the Democrat party, the Democrat Party has now become Progressive Socialist whether the majority of members want it to be or not.
The only way to save the Democrat Party (and perhaps the Republic) is to get Democrat voters to eject the Demercrat Progressive Socialist members of the House and Senate and replace them with real Democrats or Moderate RINO's.
There are some several members in the House that are real Democrats used as shills to gain the Demercrat majority in 2006. If they have remained true Democrats, they should be retained in office.
As very much a supporter of Right of center policies, I really could care less for a Democrat or Demercrat majority. However, a Democrat majority is far preferable to a Progressive Socialist Demercrat majority.
More power to the real Democrats that are finally starting to fight to regain control of their party.
