| Enlisted Warrior ![]() | Well I am one of 4 that doesn't think so. The media is biased to what sells. Right now the administration, and du jour the Republican party, are taking hits for policies and actions regarded as failed or failing, so of course the media are all over the Republicans- especially the neocons. Can anyone remember the summer of 1998, when a President named Clinton couldn't go anywhere without being hounded about "that woman," and was accused of wagging the dog when he launched strikes to attempt to kill UBL? What about media bias then? |

| K-9 Unit ![]() | As far as I can see, there is no mainstream "reporting of the facts." Every so called reporter is biased, and asked to bias the reports by the talking heads. The ethics of journalism has become a joke and every journalist is required today, to give his/her opinion on the story.

![]() | I think there is just biased in the media. Depends on the subject. Yeah I know a cop out but really it just depends on the pulse of the viewers I think more then reporting news. I was watching a thing on Iran last night about the US Hostage Crisis back in late 70's. I was about 9 or 10 when it was happening so did not remember much I did remember lighting candles for each day the hostages were held. Anyway the media was so harsh against Carter they hammered him over it every day. Of course that was before the Reagan era and the subsequent polarization of American Politics.
