| NCO ![]() | Dejavu. Upset Democrats want to relocate to Canada looking for a more desirable placed to live, like the Vietnam era draft dodgers fled to Canada to avoid the draft and deployment to Vietnam. Through the years, Canada has been a refuge for like-minded leftists and socialists, and the ex patriot wannabees share their bitter hatred for the current administration that is dead set on fighting the war on terrorism, cutting taxes, and defending freedom and democracy. However, the plan to flee from in their opinion, Bush’s dictatorship since he has been reelected, the Democrats regard Canada as their dream world. But they need not pack their bags just yet, because Canadian immigration bureaucrats are putting their foot down. Ministry spokeswoman Maria Iadinardi commented people just can’t come to Canada and claim they are staying. They need a petition and a justification why the want to come to Canada, and the ret tape could last a year. Also, Canadian officials assert a lot more Americans are leaving their country rather than applying for citizenship or work permits. Disgruntled Democrats are not the only ones who want to escape. Shortly after the election returns indicating a Bush victory, Al Sharpton informed a reporter from the Black Press USA Network, pack it up and leave for the airport and get out of Dodge. His comment was supposedly delivered in a joking manner, but Sharpton stated he had grave feelings about the President’s second term. Sharpton believes America is in it’s darkest days, because Bush will appoint judges to the Supreme Court that will attempt to eat away the achievements made the Civil Rights Movement, and the President’s economic policies shall benefit the affluent wealthy people. Now is the time to ratchet up activism pressing Congress, the likes never achieved before. Former Gore campaign manager, and Democratic strategist, Donna Brazile appeared to be in agreement of Sharpton the President is unfriendly toward African Americans. She asserts four more years of the same treatment. Also, Brazile contends they are not searching for any more accusations since Bush has made clear he doesn’t want the Black vote, as well as seeking support from African American leaders. Brazile thinks the current state is sad. Whiners! It appears Canada doesn't want the dissatisfied Americans, so they’d better call France or Spain if they really intend to leave. On their way out, they can take their anti-American feelings them, and don’t let the door hit them in the @$$. They need not bother to come back. Since there is no room at the inn, can go to Russia, Cuba, Mexico, North Korea, Iran, space is available there. Likewise for the celebrities would leave if Bush won in 2000? Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder, Alec Baldwin, director Robert Altman, former White House press secretary Pierre Salinger (he doesn’t have to pack his bags because he actually moved to another nation, and he passed away shortly before the election), Barbra Streisand who thinks Saddam Hussein is an Iranian, Lynn Redgrave, Cher, Kim Baysinger, Robert Reiner, Rosie O’Donnell, Martin Sheen, Whoppie Goldberg, Susan Sarandan and Tom Cruise. Well, they are still here. This time either put up or shut up. ![]() Unhappy Democrats Need to Wait to Get Into Canada http://www.reuters.com/newsArticle.j...toryID=6704292 Sharpton on Bush Win: 'Let's Get Out of the Country' http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2...4/120542.shtml Contest to Send Leftist Actors Packing http://www.newsmax.com/archives/arti...8/145217.shtml Send Them Packing http://www.sendthempacking.com

| Razak's Roughneck ![]() | Sheesh! Look at y'all thumping your big chests doing the victory dance. "Don't agree with me or my views? Get outta my country" ![]() Apparently, Republicans leaving the country were Kerry to be elected is 'patriotic' while it's admissible to "send democracts packing" now that Bush has won....

| Cranky Old Dude :) ![]() | Well just goes to show, you can't please anyone . . . I was hoping they would just up and leave if they didn't like it, no one is forcing them to do either: go or stay, but there a time and place to just get on with it. Just my opinion . . . And as for the Hollywood gang, screw them and any of their forthcoming movies. You will find them living as has beens, because the opinion of the many is "we don't need ya" . . . I mean really, when was the most recent album done by the Dixie Twits? Hmmm, That's OK . . . I can't remember either!! So remember, let's keep up the boycots against France and those we find too opinionated. Just because you think you play a better president on TV then who you feel America voted for in is such high numbers, doesn't mean any of us give a frog's fat azz . . . Again, this is just my opinion, you all have yours as well!! I am just stating mine . . . Last edited by 82nd Airborne Dad; 11-05-2004 at 13:09. |

As for Rep threatening to leave if Kerry was elected, I thought that was silly too.

Escape is not appropriate here. The government is not a repressive one that is forcing them to stay like the Soviet Union or Cuba. They can just pack up and leave if they can find some country that will let them in. Quote:
