Possible Voter Fraud

Several people I've talked with went to their polling place and were suprised to find that they were not registered even though they had. All of these people have one thing in common: they registered with a group called New Voters Project. I remember seeing this group signing people up about a month ago. Others who registered through this group were able to vote, but their registration forms were badly filled out and had to be fixed. Others did not recieve absentee ballots. Several people have told me that this is a liberal group, but I'm not taking that at face value. Has anyone ever worked with this group before? I don't know whether this was just an honest mistake or if it was voter fraud. I will better know in the next few hours when I speak with more people. If it is something fishy, we are going to report it, but not until we figure out what is going on. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

They say they are non-partisan, but who knows. I don't like this one bit. Once someone starts saying "you can't vote" for no legitimate reason, it ticks me off. I work for the College Republicans, but I have signed up Democrats and filled out their registration correctly; I'm glad they get to vote.

what surprises me is that they don't even check IDs to make sure we are who we say we are. hmmm.

I have just found out that this group has done this kind of thing before. Oh, they messed with the wrong person's roomate, that's for sure!
