| Racy Ol' Lady ![]() | The Rape of Europe From the desk of Paul Belien on Wed, 2006-10-25 21:57 The German author Henryk M. Broder recently told the Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant (12 October) that young Europeans who love freedom, better emigrate. Europe as we know it will no longer exist 20 years from now. Whilst sitting on a terrace in Berlin, Broder pointed to the other customers and the passers-by and said melancholically: “We are watching the world of yesterday.” Europe is turning Muslim. As Broder is sixty years old he is not going to emigrate himself. “I am too old,” he said. However, he urged young people to get out and “move to Australia or New Zealand. That is the only option they have if they want to avoid the plagues that will turn the old continent uninhabitable.” Many Germans and Dutch, apparently, did not wait for Broder’s advice. The number of emigrants leaving the Netherlands and Germany has already surpassed the number of immigrants moving in. One does not have to be prophetic to predict, like Henryk Broder, that Europe is becoming Islamic. Just consider the demographics. The number of Muslims in contemporary Europe is estimated to be 50 million. It is expected to double in twenty years. By 2025, one third of all European children will be born to Muslim families. Today Mohammed is already the most popular name for new-born boys in Brussels, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and other major European cities. Broder is convinced that the Europeans are not willing to oppose islamization. “The dominant ethos,” he told De Volkskrant, “is perfectly voiced by the stupid blonde woman author with whom I recently debated. She said that it is sometimes better to let yourself be raped than to risk serious injuries while resisting. She said it is sometimes better to avoid fighting than run the risk of death.” In a recent op-ed piece in the Brussels newspaper De Standaard (23 October) the Dutch (gay and self-declared “humanist”) author Oscar Van den Boogaard refers to Broder’s interview. Van den Boogaard says that to him coping with the islamization of Europe is like “a process of mourning.” He is overwhelmed by a “feeling of sadness.” “I am not a warrior,” he says, “but who is? I have never learned to fight for my freedom. I was only good at enjoying it.” As Tom Bethell wrote in this month’s American Spectator: “Just at the most basic level of demography the secular-humanist option is not working.” But there is more to it than the fact that non-religious people tend not to have as many children as religious people, because many of them prefer to “enjoy” freedom rather than renounce it for the sake of children. Secularists, it seems to me, are also less keen on fighting. Since they do not believe in an afterlife, this life is the only thing they have to lose. Hence they will rather accept submission than fight. Like the German feminist Broder referred to, they prefer to be raped than to resist. “If faith collapses, civilization goes with it,” says Bethell. That is the real cause of the closing of civilization in Europe. Islamization is simply the consequence. The very word Islam means “submission” and the secularists have submitted already. Many Europeans have already become Muslims, though they do not realize it or do not want to admit it. Some of the people I meet in the U.S. are particularly worried about the rise of anti-Semitism in Europe. They are correct when they fear that anti-Semitism is also on the rise among non-immigrant Europeans. The latter hate people with a fighting spirit. Contemporary anti-Semitism in Europe (at least when coming from native Europeans) is related to anti-Americanism. People who are not prepared to resist and are eager to submit, hate others who do not want to submit and are prepared to fight. They hate them because they are afraid that the latter will endanger their lives as well. In their view everyone must submit. This is why they have come to hate Israel and America so much, and the small band of European “islamophobes” who dare to talk about what they see happening around them. West Europeans have to choose between submission (islam) or death. I fear, like Broder, that they have chosen submission – just like in former days when they preferred to be red rather than dead. http://www.brusselsjournal.com/node/1609

| Non-Commissioned Officer ![]() | Europe lost its collective Judaeo-Christian faith generations ago, under the guise of modernism, enlightenment, and other BS. Belien is right when he says that when Faith is gone, so is civilization, because right then and there the real meaning, the rationale, and sheer drive for a civilization's existence is gone, kaput, over with. Europe is dead and has been dead for at least 30 years. Europe's culture today exists only in museums and tourist traps. Is it any surprise that Britons are seeking visas to emigrate out of the UK at a rate of 4000 a week right now???

| NCO ![]() | Sadly all that is said there is true but the muslims are also infiltrating New Zealand etc as well. The Christians have themselves to blame they have changed the basic tenants of their beliefs to suit political correctness and it will come to the Catholic church as well. I no longer go to mass as I am sick of hearing how I should read gods laws with 21st century eyes either it is the word of god or it is not. It is not up to me to interpret it to fit my political or social beliefs. That is where the Muslim faith attracts it does not change and offers stability and a message of ordered society that many find attractive. I happen to think that they are evil intolerant and bigoted but hey that charge has been led against the Catholics since the 1400's! |

| Racy Ol' Lady ![]() | Sabadgeman, if that's what you are hearing from your priest, I suggest you do one of two things. This is what I would do, at least. 1) Leave and shop around for a church with the priest still preaching the Gospel and Scriptures in general, and with a congregation that listens, if at all possible. But the priest is important. 2) Start a newspaper campaign against political correctness, citing the churches and their teachings as victims, or just a campaign seeking to draw believers out of those "modern" churches to a place where they can worship in truth. Islam has only one enemy really; and that's Christianity. For any hope at all, Christians must band together now, before it's too late. There really is no time left. Being Catholic is not what is important; what is important is being Christian. That's your only hope. Don't just throw up your hands. Please start a campaign of some sort to fight the evil that is in this fanatic religion we are seeing take over over there. Shari'a law is a horrid law; not changing is good only if what you have is perfect. What they have is unchanging because of the way Islam is run once it is in charge. Remember, Islam is everything to a devout Muslim, and if it takes over, all will be devout because they know the alternative. It is religion, government and how one lives from cradle to grave. Your children and theirs will be slaves. We have this battle coming here too. Our evil government is doing just what those in Europe are doing -- turning blind eyes to what is happening. Letting them win simply by coming in and increasing until they are the largest number and they will vote themselves in. With us, it will mean our Constitution will be burned; all freedom will be lost. There are a great many peace-loving and peaceful Muslims. They too will be victims if this happens -- somebody better start fighting soon, or the world, at least the Northern Hemisphere, will be lost. You may find others in your church who see this and will join with you. If so, prayer will help you all know what to do. If not, prayer will help you all know what to do.. hopefully in time. Islam is moving all over the world. It's time for us to do the same. NOW.

| Non-Commissioned Officer ![]() | Quote:
The basic tenets of Catholicism have not changed in their "official" promulgations, however, the actions at the local level have been either abridged or modified because bishops were more concerned with being "nice guys" rather than leaders. Metropolitan Cyprian of Oropos and Fili once looked at another bishop's solea (bishop's seat in a cathedral) and said, "What we need are lions, not rabbits!" How right he is. Melkite Patriarch Gregory III Laham more than once has lambasted the bishop selection process in the Catholic Church, because the people who have the most say in who becomes a bishop has the least amount of interest in the diocese involved, meaning true leaders are suppressed to an extent. Then you need to find a good parish and stop letting your anger keep you from worship.

| Racy Ol' Lady ![]() | Tom, I think political correctness is a political thing. It has nothing to do with Christianity, except perhaps in the perverted minds of some politicians. Truth is Christian; p.c. is little more than schooling in lies. There's nothing kind about it.

| NCO ![]() | Hi Marianne This is a sort of last post first answer post as I have been off line for a while. I am sorry to say that PC is more often than not a church lead thing certainly in the UK when the likes of the the Bishop of Birmingham pipes up with a little gem that Christmas must be a multicultural festival and that we should proclaim the Lords birth but not in a triumphant sense and be aware of others feelings so carol singing etc should be limited to places of worship only!!! Catholic churches are few and far between in the Highlands of Scotland so switching is not that easy. Christianity is so discredited in British society, schools no longer have to teach it except as part of a multicultural subject even in faith schools i.e Catholic schools and Church of England Schools. No wonder the youth lean towards the Islamic faith they want anything to give them moral and spiritual guidance! Steve Steve |
