| Jr. Officer ![]() | Man gets 2 years probation posing as Marine The Associated Press Posted : Wednesday Apr 11, 2007 6 59 EDTST. LOUIS — A St. Louis man who posed as a Marine and wore military medals not awarded to him was sentenced to two years of probation Tuesday on a federal charge. Michael Gerald Weilbacher, 48, also will serve 120 hours of community service at a military organization and pay a $3,000 fine. He pleaded guilty Feb. 1. Weilbacher joined the South St. Louis Detachment of the Marine Corps League by representing that he had been honorably discharged from the Marines, U.S. Attorney Catherine Hanaway said. He appeared at the U.S. Marine Corps Ball on Nov. 11 wearing several medals and decorations, including the Navy Cross, the Marine Corps’ second-highest medal. Several people who were there contacted the FBI, suspecting Weilbacher was not authorized to wear the medals. In his plea, he admitted he had never been a Marine and had not been awarded the Navy Cross. The original charge against Weilbacher was a misdemeanor. After he was charged, Congress passed the Stolen Valor Act, making the crime a felony. | NCO ![]() | Can he.... drink a case of beer, half a bottle of Crown and 2 cans of Monster before midnight, have nonstop sex from midnight till 0300, wake up at 0500, run 5 miles, puke and start over? That's the true test to see if someone is really a Marine! |

![]() Try pulling 24 hour duty (Staff Duty) and then go right into a 24 hour (nonstop) EDRE,and then report back to regular duty; then you might be able to talk. But, wait a minute, that's a Army soldier I'm talking about. ![]() SORRY!!

| NCO ![]() | Nice come back BloodThirstyWench. Actually, each branch has claims like you initial one. Just like other branches can show reasons, their is the best and another isn't. But, I won't go there. I'll leave that to fellow service-members exchanging friend ribbing. Been there done that with all of them.
