| Junior Officer   |  Budget Proposal for 2008 Bush submits $2.9 trillion budget to Congress - CNN.com Bush submits $2.9 trillion budget to Congress Still wants to balance the budget in 5 years with no tax increase, but spending continues to go up? He couldn't do it in 6 with the PUBS in control but wants to get the DIMS to pass a budget balancing plan? I've got my popcorn, Hershey bar, and coke already for the REALLY BIG SHOW!
