I was listening to Fox news this morning and this was being discussed. These are a few examples of what they covered. How much will we cave?

...the Deutsche Oper in Berlin has taken Mozart's opera "Idomeneo" off its schedule after a "risk analysis" produced by Germany's Office of Criminal Investigation (LKA) concluded that "the possibility of performances being disrupted cannot be ruled out." The opera is more than 200 years old. This performance was to be directed by Hans Neuenfels, and it featured Idomeneo, the King of Crete, stepping onto the stage with a bloody sack containing the severed heads of Poseidon, Jesus, Buddha and Muhammad. In Neuenfels's production, Idomeneo produces the severed heads from the sack and holds them into the air triumphantly.

There are Muslim taxi drivers in New York city who want to have special rights not to carry passengers carrying liquor or who've been drinking because that's against their religion

Don't believe the no liquor stuff. There is plenty of alcohol in muslim countries. Once again this is just another lie. The koran itself states in one place that alcohol is ok, then in another it is not. So they don't know what to think.

True. And I believe it's the "fruit of the vine," aka wine, that is forbidden anyway. Still some to stretch it to include all alcohol. I spent a lot of hours in some of the men's coffee shops inside the Old City of Jerusalem, and never was any alcohol included there. They drank, of course - coffee, tea and on rare occasion fruit juices. Never alcohol. So some do take that as an order against drinking any alcoholic beverages.

But they do make delicious Arak. This is the same drink as Oozo in Greece. Very nice indeed!

My buds who went in to free Kuwait flew outr with Kuwaitis on their L-1011.
Once it was declared that the were in open waters and away from Kuwait/Iraq, the Kuwaitis began ordering up drinks like it was mad. We had all been told that the Arabic/islamics never drank, against their religion (wht we were never allowed alcoholic beverages, but the Air Farce always managed to smuggle in liquer inside of the airframe insulation....Au Contrare!

This IS STILL America, BTW....the companies can FIRE cab drivers who refuse customers. This is private enterprise. If a religious beliefe comes up against company beliefe, it's the owner's right to hire who he believes will support and represent his company the best.

Speaking from a military point, our Marine policy is that if you are drinking, CALL A CAB! All the Marine bases have cab cards so they aren't tempted to drive drunk/inebriated.

If Islamics want to bar the inebriated from their cabs, I say FARQ YOU!

This is a deliberate communication of a religion upon the masses. Think Taliban IN OUR OUW COUNTRY!

THIS IS THE FIRST STEP! MADD and others might embrace this, but it goes far beyond just this encounter.

WAKE UP AMERICA! I can't discern between a good Islamic and a bad Islamic...and THEY aren't helping mattters.

John, you have your work cut out, because I, and other Americans are forced into becoming racist to protect OUR country. The sad state is that you are a part of the religion that also fosters a radical arm which wishes US to be DEAD.
