I don’t care what the liberals say, we did and are doing the right thing in Iraq!!!!

I rarely post in P/CP because there is no changing the liberal mind set concerning Iraq…

But consider this…

How could we,,, as a nation ignore or look the other way while hundreds of thousands Human beings were killed, tortured or imprisoned in underground dungeons by Saddam never to be heard or seen again,,,Women, children, innocents,,,, Unimaginable horrors…

We are doing the right thing in Iraq!!!!

On Memorial Day a woman noticed that I was wearing a “Welcome Home 1-194th A Co.” t-shirt. She told me of her son’s teacher who is Iraqi and escaped with his most of his family. His mother however was unable to escape from Iraq and was imprisoned and tortured by Saddam. The only thing that saved her life was the US invasion and liberation of Iraq. This woman is now with her family in northern Minnesota…

I say again, I don’t care what the liberals say, we did and are doing the right thing in Iraq!!!!

The liberal mindset is against Bush, I think, Scott. If he did it, it's wrong - even if God were to speak and say, "Yes, set those people free," which is what we're trying to do, the liberals would say it's wrong.

We are there now, no matter what was said to get us there - or how long the Russian/French combination kept us out to give Saddam time to cover his tracks, so we're going to get the job done to the extent of giving the Iraqi people a chance for life. That much we can do, and that much we will do - with God's help.

The Americans and the British were correct in their invasion to liberate Iraq.
The actions of the majority of the soldiers maintain the highest standards of honour for both countries.

Irrespective of what the end results of Iraqi freedom is the liberals will always knock these two countries and their allies for what was done and will look for every excuse for further reasons to do so.

I hold all the allied soldiers in Iraq in the highest regard and admire their courage and committment.

The liberals (begrudgers) had not got the intestinal fortitude (the polite term for guts) to stand up and be counted when it came for action on Iraq. Yet most of these are the same countries who formed the first allied alliance in the First Gulf War.

But I must be frank here they are thriving on and still using as justification for their stance the reason given in the UN for the invasion/liberation, the now infamous WMD and 45 minute threat claims. These two claims it is now acknowledged were based on faulty intelligence (to put it mildly). While the intelligence was faulty it had to be acted on, but the liberals as a result of this failing, found their holy grail and became conspiracy theorists.

While I support the American people and their troops and indeed all the allied troops and countries, I have to say the liberals were given ammunition to fire at the allies by the respective governments in relation to this matter.

Where do we go from here? who knows but it can only be forward with full independence for the Iraqi people, but I respectfully offer this up (with NO insult intended) that as long as President Bush is in power the american and allied cause will be seen to be flawed.

To all the allied troops in serving in Iraq or Afghanistan I as a serving soldier commend your courage and committment while do an impossible task.

I can't find it now (go figure....Woody, some help??!!), but I had posted a State Dept report from '98 about the U.N. findings, and world wide reports of factual analysys and evidence of chemical weapons, manufacturing, and usage, to include lab results of specimen testings. The lab don't lie. The libds don't want to hear it, though....

There is proof of trucks and shipping boats between Iraq and other countries prior to the invasion. This is after Iraq kicked out the U.N. "Inspectors", some of whom actually helped the Iraqi inspection sites with days in advance heads up calls.

Blood for oil, no WMD's....blah, blah, blah....I don't care, and I'm NOT listening.

We are there for the right reasons. The libs always cry out that we aren't helping despot nations that treat their populace unfairly...but all of a sudden Iraq is off limits. Tell that to the Iraqi dead, you limp-wristed pansey liberals.
