Must be a crushing defeat that the highest rated show on CNN is Lou Dobbs and his anti-immigrant rants. Thats ok, maybe CNN will try to get Gallup to do a poll like they did after Katrina to 'prove' that they are the most watched

Does CNN have some deal with the airports in this country? I didn't notice it on this last trip, but in the past I've noticed always CNN was running non-stop in the waiting areas. I don't remember anybody watching it, and I sure wouldn't - but it was always running.

Maybe that's why they claim to be so high rated - the number of people coming and going in those airports. Watching or not, they were there and CNN was running.

I think they just cant let the old way go. Used to be CNN was it, Ted Turner, liberal bias and all. But things change and Americans are tired of having news media that is so biased and anti American. Too bad for CNN

CNN lost that a while back - it's amazing what competition will do by giving people a choice.

I know that I quit watching them when it came out that they covered up the crimes SH was commiting against his own people just so they could stay in Iraq and report.

CNN definitely gets passed over by me. Especially since Katrina when it seemed that the became that the catastrophy turned into a witch hunt against all things conservative.

It's probably because CNN is recognized internationally as a diversified news source. Fox is primarily the US rather than international. I'm referring to broadcast reach, not content.

I was able to get CNN in Europe not long ago, but not Fox or any other US "locals". Europe has it's own national newscasting just as we do. For international travelers CNN is the better choice.
