How is it that Aljazeera is the only news network there when hostages are being taken? Why did Aljazeera reporters take kickbacks from saddam during the war? Why are terrorist speeches relieced to them?

Yes we know they are obviously going to a have an Islamic flavour to their reporting. However the format that they present (extreme detail of the mutilated U.S. contractors bodies for e.g, which every other TV news station censored for obvious reasons) their reports in can only aid in the escalation of hatred and resentment felt towards westerners by some Arab minorities.

It would be very interesting to see how the Iraqi's view CNN or Sky News though don't you think?

They may tout themselves as a news source. But the very fact that they have intimate dealings with terrorist groups, leads me to believe that just about everything they print or broadcast has a definitive spin. Not simply the spin associated with any foreign press corps, but a truly hate-riddled, violence inciting, inflammatory type. Perhaps spin isn't the correct term....

What would you call warping a news item to portray a pre-conceived message?

They are propaganda machine period. I heard and read that the Arabic version of the web site is much different then the English. They also use imaging that is most assuredly lies.

Take this image here for example. At first it may look innocent enough but in my opinion it was made specifically to make the soldier look like he had his weapon pointed at the sweet young girl and looking down at her from an arrogant point of view. Also the soldier depicted is a large mean looking black guy. Kind of guy you want on your side. I could not reproduce the image here very well but take a look at the link at the bottom here. The greatest propaganda is subtle and powerful that you will not forget it. These guys are very good at it.

Mouthpiece for radicals. These jokers in the Middle East don't care about honesty... all these radical Muslims care about is conquering the non-Muslim world and it doesn't matter how they achieve it.

Aljazeera is about the same like Foxnews. Both are ignorant and arrogant, a disgrace, they are not doing journalism rather propaganda for their own political agenda.

Actually, Aljazeera, Clinton News Network (CNN), NBC, CBS, and ABC are the propagandists... read "Bias" by Bernard Goldberg.
