What do they want to take next from these POW's, their VA checks?
I soooo disagree.

I have a friend who was a POW in WWII. He escaped captivity... He recieved nothing from any government beside the medals he rated. He asked for nothing, there is more honor in that. He wrote and self-published a book about it, which I have.

We all took risks when we said our oaths, we knew that when we signed. Had I gone to Panama and been killed there, my folks would have only pursued postumous awards, IF anything.
