![]() | Is the www.thesmokinggun.com a tabloid or for real? I had someone show me this today. At first all I could think of was the little boy from the movie "7 men out" (think that was the title) when they threw the World Series and the little boy asked Joe "say it ain't so Joe, say it ain't so" http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive...3mackris1.html

| Racy Ol' Lady ![]() | Well, I read enough of this to get embarrassed myself just sitting here and reading it. If, after the first dinner with her boss, the young woman was so embarrassed, why didn't she simply refuse to go with him to dinners afterwards? Granted, she may have been unable to avoid him at work and on business trips, she still had the ability to avoid dinners with him and any other "after work" meetings. "Thanks, but I have plans already" would have been sufficient. No need to extend it. If he had pursued such an answer, she could have smiled and repeated it while leaving the room. I can't imagine going out a second time with a man who started such conversations with me when I was young - and now I would simply get up and leave. He could take his job and stow it in a dark corner somewhere - then the legal suit which I would have taken against him would have had a few teeth. To constantly agree to go out with him gave him every reason to assume she was enjoying the conversations and just not admitting it. Which is in no way to imply I have any sympathy for the man. I hope she ruins his reputation, if what she claims is true.

![]() | I do not understand why she would go to a hotel room with him after he talked like that. Then state he did not make any moves or bother her then while watching the presidential conference. Which of course she smeared or rather her lawyer tried to smear the President and Fox News while writing. I am not even sure it is true. Would think with all the ones that hate O'Reilly it would be all over the news but nothing...
