| Icing Queen ![]() | Athletic teams at Oxford College of Emory University are known as the Eagles. Maybe they should change the name to the zebras. One of the striped animals was found in Sevey Hall on the Newton County campus on Wednesday morning. Staffers discovered the zebra standing calmly in a third-floor hallway when they opened up the building for the day. A maintenance worker armed with a bucket of oats lured the animal down the stairs. Newton County Animal Control officers didn't have to look far to find the zebra's owner. They knew that Curtis Jackson has owned a zebra named Barcode for several years. A quick call confirmed Barcode was missing from Jackson's property. By Wednesday afternoon he was back in his pen. "He seems little rowdy right now, but otherwise I think he's OK," Jackson told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "How many people own zebras around here?" said Newton County Animal Control Director Teri Key-Hooson. ean Stephen Bowen said the unknown zebra-nappers took measures to ensure the animal wasn't harmed. "They lined up a row of chairs so the animal couldn't get close to the windows and injure itself," he said. Leaving animals in school buildings is a long-standing tradition at Oxford. Some professors recalled finding chickens and cows in their classrooms. Student Prank Leaves Zebra In College Building - News Story - WSB Atlanta

| Racy Ol' Lady ![]() | I thought horses, which seems to be what zebras were in a former life, couldn't go down stairs! This zebra seems to have that in his capabilities.
