Default Congressional Car Rentals I Fleece’m Good the Taxpayers

Members of Congress get a car allotment. Did any of the congressmen and women purchase a low-priced vehicle in seeking to save taxpayers some moolah? You believe that, I have some swamp land in the Gobi Desert for sale.

They weren’t thrifty. Instead some congressmen and women rented new ones. Charles Rangle leased a Cadillac Deville costing $998 a month, and Rep. Gregory Meeks leased a Lexus for a monthly fee of $1,062..
Rep. Howard McKeon rental monthly cost for his Acura is $1,248., and Rep. Dennis Cardoza’s expenditure is $,1227 for a Chevy truck.

More practical or less expensive leasers are Congressman Anthony Weiner. His Chevrolet Impala cost $219 a month, and Rep. John Carter cost $210 a month.

However, the most costly is Rep. Mike Ross. Cost for his Fod Expedition is $1,248 a month.

From the President on down, all should drive their own vehicles to work and other places using their financial resources.
