Only it would be the head.. not the arm. If one insults Mohammad or Islam, there is a fatwa placed against that person. Look at the book by Salmon Rushdie - I forget the title, but it's moot. Books by Ibn Warraq have resulted in the same fatwa against him. Both were Muslims - but is Oriana Fallaci? She's an atheist who has written a good bit about Islam - she can't return to her native country, Italy, without being disguised, because of the fatwa against her. She's an atheist.

And so it is. This is why the Muslims in Britain have tried to get a law there making it a crime to "insult" a religion. How does a person "insult" something that is not another person? Beats me! But this is the law they want; it was entered for a vote, but I lost track of it. Was the law passed?

I haven't seen one lately. They do get great glee though when infidels are hurt and grieving though. Remember the dancing and laughing by the Palestinians after 9-11?

There's no joy in many of their societies and only the males get to celebrate. The females are locked away and left out.

They might be 'kind' and only wack off an arm as a warning to others who dare to think that the Western freedoms are allowed when dealing with Islamics.

If that isn't ominous of the path our relationship with them is on...then nothing is.

Pay attention. The only relationship they want with us is one-sided. They have absolutely no desire or intentions of tolerating us.

Then there is the liberal left that has the idea that all the republicans want to do is generate fear. Who knows maybe the violent demonstrations by the muslims will open the eyes of those that don't want to see what is right in front of them.

Some that hate Bush more than they are able to admit, probably won't see the big picture but I can hope.
