| I, Robot ![]() | Although it seems obvious that when overweight people lose weight their health should improve, the relationship between weight loss and health may not be as simple as that, suggests previous studies from Finland and Denmark. In the people who were otherwise healthy losing weight seemed to be associated with higher mortality. What makes these results quite difficult to interpret is that it is not clear what caused the increased risk, but nonetheless intentional weight loss did not improve mortality. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...0703232551.htm
