Default World War 1 soldier's grave site

Please help me find where USA Army, ww1 soldier Jesse Hubert Thomas was killed and buried.
He was born July 07,1894 in Warrior,Al., Jefferson Co. and was killed Sept. 13.1918.
His body was never returned to the USA. Thank you, any information would be greatly appreciated. Glynda

Default Re: World War 1 soldier's grave site

Does the US not have the equivalent of the Commonwealth Graves Association which logs all British and Empire soldiers killed in the three wars WWI WWII & Korea as well as the firefight wars since?
