Default [MV] Tripping from Vegas to South Dakota!

Hi:
In August, the family and I will be flying out to Vegas and then taking a car up thru Utah, Wyomong, yYellowstone, Montana, and ending up at Mt Rushmore, where we will fly back to Boston from...Would anyone know of some MV related stops we could make along the way? It seems to me I read somewhere years ago of an MV and Aircraft graveyard somewhere out there..I may be wrong on the location however...I sure would like to make some mv hobby stops along the way!
Thanks
Peter

Personally, sanity would preclude me from making Las Vegas the locus of a
driving vacation in August. You're over 21, and cars tend to be more
reliable these days, but still. That said, you might be thinking of "the
famed Airplane Graveyard-Bone Yard at Davis Monthan Airforce Base. The
Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Center AMARC is where the U.S. Air
Force mothballs planes until they either need them again or it's time to
salvage them for parts."¹
