Default [MV] help with weapons confiscation - please

Few years back there was a group of MV people going to a show somewhere and
police stopped them and confiscated demilled weapons, from memory the even
seized some rubber / plastic rifles, I looked in archives and could not find
anything.

I am trying to write an article about this and if anyone can help, please
contact me off list

Hi Everette
Happened in Sturbridge MA, quite a few years back now. I would say late
80's.

It used to be in The Marine Corp while on base patroling in a Cadillac
Gage commando Ranger, (manditory MV content) you could wear your BDUs.
Off base however was a different story.
You could not wear combat dress. I beleive there might be some
ordinance about shipping/driving of Mil-vehicles (set up for combat)
weather Gov. or private collector, while on the state/federal hwy
system, that they have to be covered.
Not sure 'bout this. But every time I see green tracks on Rt. 75
they are coverd (I know the 2 1/2s are driven regularly). So it may
be similar to the 'ole "inciting a rite act" thingy.

Just sounding off.

I believe the restrictive gun laws of MA applies to demill, realistic or
dummy firearms also. But, if you have a NH carry permit to defend life and
property, you can also get one in MA.

I seem to remember something on the list that happened in the NE right
after 9-11. Someone going to a show with a MG exposed. But then, my
memory may be failing me again.
