What I don't understand is how those robbers could possibly have been
*armed*.
I thought those gun control laws prevented this sort of thing! What
gall for them to defy gun laws and carry guns to a crime in a place
where all the law-abiding are unarmed!

Yes, they impersonated British police officers. In other words, they left
their guns at home.

The problem with that group of misfits - was that they probably can't
read. I'm sure that if they would have been able to read they would
have followed all of the rules. But apparenlty they can do math - or at
least they can count well now with all of that practice counting the
cash. (;->)
