| Civilians | never call your vehicle armored, tank, combat, or anything close to that when registering your vehicle. I believe scout car would suffice and be a perfect description. Don't ask don't tell. I know your proud of your tank but the best thing when registering is to try to make your vehicle conform with a normal car or as close as possible. Don't lie but give only what is necessary. In your case a ferret does not look like an armored car to most people. I would remove any weapons for an inspection. I bet you can wait a few months, go to another station and register the ferret. I had a similar problem with a M998 Humvee. Waited a month and had no problems with my Am General Hummer. Same vehicle different description.
