Default [MV] Vehicle needed for indie film shooting in Bucks County, PA

Reply to: Renactr2 (AT) aol (DOT) com

Posted for James Burrill, respond to him.

Hi List,
To make a long story short, I am trying to help a
beginning film-maker locate a vehicle that will
work for his very, very, low budget film. On par
with a college level film project.

He is looking for something the East
Germans/Russians used during the Cold War.
Ideally, a GAZ jeep. After explaining the "facts
of life" of asking an MV owner to transport
something to a shooting location, and based on
his budget (almost non-existant!) he is willing
to take anything that isn't a Hummer or a Ww2
Willys.

If you have something suitable, and are
interested, then your reward would be a few bucks
for gas, the joy of seeing your baby on screen,
and the knowledge that you are helping a kid
launch a career.

He plans to shoot on weekends later in January
and February. I would guess it will really
stretch into March. He is willing to arrange the
shooting schedule to meet your availability, and
likely only be needed one day. maybe a day later
on.

If this sounds like a fun way to play with your
vehicle for a day, contact the filmaker directly.

Don is his name.
Location is Bucks County, PA about 20 miles north of Philadelphia.

FWIW, I am lending him several East German
uniforms and kit. He would welcome some extra
soldiers if you have stuff and want to be in the
film.

Cheers
Jim Burrill
