| Civilians | Uncle Sam used motor mounts desinged for a M1009 with gas engine rather than the mounts used for a civy "Blazer or Jimmy" with a 6.2 engine. I purchased new rubber mounts from Napa and they worked just fine. The GM mounts for a diesel would not fit as described below. The poly mounts do transfer a lot more vigration into the cab area. The adapter from the frame to the motor mount is alos for the civy gas version. If the M1028 mounts are the same NSN or p/n as the ones for the M1009 then you will also need mounts shown for a gas engine too. Good luck. Jim PS: Anyone know why Uncle Sam would want a different motor mount rather than the normal one that Civy trucks would use? Perhaps it was a parts availability issue from GM? __________________________________ Yahoo! FareChase: Search multiple travel sites in one click.
