Hey,

Glenn is right, sorry I didnt reply sooner. The solinoid does not have
enough poop to push the whole throttle linkage to a high idle position, you
need to push the accelerator to the floor once to get it to engage. It
sounds like you have a bad temp switch. I looked for over an hour through
the computer at the napa store I woked at, and could never find that part.
It might be a GM only thing, or maybe another major auto parts store can get
it.
