| Civilians | Good morning Darrel, After some thinking, and looking at the website that you provided, you say you have a M101 trailer. These trailers did not come equipped with a hand crank. Most were man handled like Ron says by 2 -> 4 " volunteers ". These cranks were probably added at some later point. The website shows the drop leg / hand crank for what I think is used on the newer humvee style trailers, whose M series number I cannot seem to recall at this time. Something else that works good in a pinch is a high lift jack. Especially if your trailer is loaded or has a spare tire mounted in front of the bed like I do. Of course I could be wrong. Anyone else care to comment ?
