I hate, really really hate, to announce this, but I will not be
participating in this years convoy. Sorry Bruce, Cabell and everybody else
down this way. After having my brother backing out of the rally, I decided
to see if my wife wanted to go. She was crazy enough to go to the MVPA
convention this past year with me and I figured I would try for the rally.
This of course means there will be equal time for sight seeing away from the
rally as well as at the rally. Point being I will be heading down on
Thursday morning in a quiet, air conditioned truck. This obviously rules
out a MV. We probably won't get to the rally until late in the day. It
gets worse. I have been told we will be in a hotel. No camping. And after
Friday morning "deal" hunting we are going to DC to take in the sites. Then
back to the rally to make sure I didn't over look any thing good that
morning.

Sorry guys, but sometimes you have to put the little woman over the guys.
But that's not really a bad thing. I have spaces reserved in the yellow
section along with several of the NC guys.

There are four of us using the spaces under my name and I hope to get them
in the proper names soon. Hope to see a bunch of you guys there this year.

PS. I hope to have my scout car ready next year. It's as fast as a deuce,
or is that as slow. Maybe I could hear a cell phone in it.
