I would suspect that a halftrack can be treated like a wheeled truck
almost everywhere. At 8tons, give or take, and with the endless rubber
band tracks that they were issued with, they are probably not any harder
on the road than a pickup. The load is well distributed and it is
absolutely all rubber on the road.

But even a light tank would be a very different issue. Certainly not
light... I saw a M41 Bulldog grind into a parking lot during a turn at
the first Salute to Victory Meet. Not pretty.
