| Civilians | I have used silicone rubber compound extensively for waterproof encapsulation. It is very cheap, flexible, waterproof and can be dug out if you ever need to remove it. The stuff comes in various sized cartidges and colours, commonly used as a bath/wall sealant and available from any builders merchants and many hardware stores.
