I don't think that you have to go to all that much trouble. When you go
into a Sam's club, the "greeter" asks you for your sam's card. You politely
tell him/her you have never been in here before and wanted to see what it is
all about. They will send you to the customer service counter. (hopefully
to buy a membership) At this point you ARE in the store. They used to give
you a courtesy card in that you may buy for that day but will have to pay
cash. That's all there is to it. Julian
