| Civilians | I'm no HMMWV expert but from what I've been told by frinds that work with them the first thing to do would be to throw out the 6.5 diesel and install a reliable diesel. Apparently there very under powered and unreliable. I'm also told much of the HMMWV is not strong enuff. I would guess if you start building them the way they should be built weight becomes an issue fast. If It were me out there I would want reliable mechanicle parts that are built to stand up to all day every day hard use and last a minimum of 6,000 operational hrs with out needing major rebuild. Just normal maintenance such as Belts, oil changes, ball joints or a U joint or two. Reasonable armer was another wish they talked about.
