>From the reading of the e-mail on video it does not say what type of bomb it
was but that they suspect it was a new type.

Back to the armor, it says the hatch was 4 inches thick. It doesn't mention
about the rest of the top.

Ahh. Tough luck there. Sounds like it did the
turret in and that acted as a buffer. Was it a
shaped charge or just a general HE blast?

a lot of the Vietnam era riverine craft had this
kind of standoff armor for protecting against
RPG.s Not a new thing.
