An inductive light will work but you have to make a spark plug cable with a piece of the shield cut
out. A Dremel tool works well to cut a section out
If it's a 12V light, connect the negative lead to ground and the positive lead to the jumper between
the batteries.
You can also buy a military adapter kit that has the unshielded cable as well as a adapter to screw
into the large plugged hole on the distributor so that you can connect a tach/dwell meter to the
coil. IMO the rest of the kit is pretty much useless.
