| Civilians | Hi Kenny , If inductive pickup won`t work on shielded lead ,which is most likely, then simply extend the lead a few inches with an odd bit of HT lead and clamp on this , or use an inline type trigger lead , light , or even one of the very cheap neon type lights , though usually then do the job in subdued light for best results . Check contact gap before setting timing !
