Default Day by Day setting

Hello all,

Under some of my resources i get a message (and red, bold text) say that "this resource should be leveled on a day by day setting" and I have done searches for it, looked on technet, and can't find anything or any setting that remotely matches this. Does anyone know what this means and how to get rid of it?

-Thanks

Default Re: Day by Day setting

Hi Armin,

A resource is "red" when it is overallocated (i.e. has more work that what
is possible as per the Max. Units) for at least ONE MINUTE through he plan.

It gets a yellow losenge with the text ".... day by day setting..." when it
is overallocated at least once for a time period defined in Tools, Resource
Leveling (maybe minute by minute, hour by hour, etc.)

To get rid of the red font: Format, Text Styles, Overallocated resources
You can select not to see the losenge by deleting the indicator column.
