| Civilians | It isn't available in PowerPoint . Create the text in Word, copy and then in PowerPoint use "Paste Special" as a Microsoft Office Word Document Object. -- Sonia Coleman Microsoft PowerPoint MVP Team Autorun Software, Templates and Tutorials http://www.soniacoleman.com "LES" <LES@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:21B61DBF-38EC-40F0-A837-B021AF2A1BAA@microsoft.com... > IN WORD & PUBLISHER THE FONT EFFECT OUTLINE IS SHOWN BUT NOT IN POWER POINT > HOW CAN I GET IT THERE ALSO? |

| Civilians | It's not Sonia's fault, and please don't shout - I can hear you in the UK!! Les, as well as your using all capital letters makes your posting very hard to read (and is usually considered as SHOUTING in newsgroups), text with outline-effect is much more harder to read on slides, especially if viewers are sitting far away from the screen (as will be the case in a large church). Seat yourself in the back-row and test it against normal or bold text. Kind regards, Ute |

| Civilians | Please turn off Caps Lock. It is very difficult to read and on the Internet it is interpreted as shouting. Maybe you are shouting, but if so, please shout at Microsoft. Here we are only users like you. I don't work for Microsoft and I don't know why this feature is explicitly ommitted in PowerPoint. My opinion is that outline text is difficult to read when projected on a screen. I always prefer to use large bold text for clarity and reading ease. This would certainly be true if I were in church.
