Default Axim 3i...connect box popping up :(

When I disconnect from the internet, shutting down the radio
and disabling the WiFi, every few minutes or so a pop up box
says
Cannot Connect you have no modem entries created and no network card
present.
I can select Settings or Dismiss

As though it's trying to re connect.
any help?

Either you have set scheduled ActiveSync, or scheduled email downloads.
Check, it is probably one of them trying to connect.

wow, I thought you hit it on the nose. In Active Sync Options Schedule, I
had
"when connected to my pc, sync every 5 mins and I thought bingo!
I changed it to "On connection" but it still is getting that popup.
Could you direct me where to check scheduled email downloads??
Does my pc settings matter how often I have it set to check?

thank you sooo much.
