Default PPC speed VS. desktop speed?

I understand that the processors inside of PPCs and desktops are of a
completely different architecture, but is there any way to compare the Chip
speeds? What is the most high end PPC equivalent to?

Default Re: PPC speed VS. desktop speed?

It depends on the task. There is no single equivalent comparison.
