Hey, y'all! I'm a newbie, and my reason for joining is two-fold:

1. Snowden made me! (giggle)

2. I want to try to support our military even if it's to this tiny extent.

I'm the widowed mom of 4 great kids, who have grown up without a dad and yet have managed to turn out to be 4 of the neatest people I have ever met. My 20-year-old son just left last week to study in Japan for 9 months, so I'm experiencing a sudden onslaught of partial empty nest.

I am currently in graduate school studying Pastoral Counseling and Spiritual Care. It's kind of fun.

I'm trying to earn a few extra bucks by tutoring the high school subjects I used to teach, and that's kind of fun, too.

Thanks for letting me "play"!

Let me know if you need help navigating - although I admit there are places I have yet to see after something like 2½ years here.

Really, we have everything here. An Arcade, A photo Gallery, discussion, debates, political stuff. You name it, you'll find it here - if it's good, that is.

If you look up from here, you'll see a list: Trackpads Community > General Discussions > Chit-Chat > Chit-Chat Announcements .

Click on Chit-Chat and you're in discussions. At the top there, below this same list, you'll see Sabot Saloon Three. This is where we have coffee in the mornings and exchange pleasantries off and on all day, and have drinks in the evening. No calories, no real alcohol - but very real and nice people.

Myrrhie and Sweetheart, I hope you both will join us there for a look around. Then on to debate or whatever you want.
