I live in Texas and am a family man. Not a dork, but like to put my family first. Ok dork is subjective
I servered in the Army during peace time from 92-96 as 11-B. I was an RTo the entire time although i of course knew all of the light infantry weapons.
I thank my lucky stars i never saw live conflict. I know i ouwld have been able to handle it, ut you count your blessings if you know what i mean.
After my ETS I used the Army college fund and GI BIll to get a BS in Computer Information Systems.
I contribute my troubleshooting skills to my time in the army and those **** radios and secure telephone.
i work as a Systmes Analyst at a medium sized hospital for burned children.
I manage and maintain a Unix cluster (Sun OS), NT4.0, W2K, and W2K3 servers.
Everything from application support, OS config, network device support (swithces, cabling etc.), project management (organizing and implementing technologies, policies, and procedures), and a bit of database work including SQL.
I love my job. I also have a great view.

I play rugby when i can although most recently i have had to put this off to take care of a few things.
My little borther (20y/o) is in the 1st ID in Sumarra, Iraq patching up soldiers as a comabt medic. Most of the men in my family served in the armed forces.
I'll add to this as i remember who/what i am!

Hey, not really a newbie, but failed to do a formal introduction, so here I go.

My name is Kevin Wake, I'm 17( A youngin I know), and I currently live in Phoenix AZ. I am an Army brat, my step-dad is Msg Julian Castillo. He is a former 2nd Batt. Ranger out of FT. Lewis, and served in Operation Just Cause with the 3rd Batt. of 7th Group Special Forces, and was his A-Team Bravo(Weapons Sgt, he had an m24). He spent alot of time in S. America during the drug wars and training South American Forces. He is currently stationed in YPG(Yuma Proving Grounds), and is the Head instructor of the Advanced Course of the MFF(Military Freefall) school there. I plan on following my stepdads footsteps and join the Army, but at the moment I'm planning on becoming an officer instead of enlisting. This is a great site, and I'm glad to be a member.

Oh, and if you're wandering about my signature, I love WWII armor, and could spend the rest of my life reading about it if I didn't have asperations to join the Army. I have two buddies here that I go to school with that are new members of this site, they are 75RANGERS and Comrade Egan. I really enjoy these forums and try to bring in new peopple whenever possible.
