| Enlisted Warrior ![]() | Combat-Good to see you, as well. ![]() Yet, this is still a new thing here, and was not addressed there. Some(who matter) do not know you. This is a tanker site that is expanding to accomodate other Veterans and some very active online folks. Indulge us Veterans and non-Veterans alike ![]()

| Pending User ![]() | Indulge everyone.....ok. Been a member here since Nov '03, but as you see I haven't posted often. I get side tracked every now and then. Glad to see the membership is growing.... Currently work in the field of Telecommunications. I work in those telephone buildings that have NO windows and too many dang computers in them. Anyone familiar with 5 ESS? As for my military background, I'm NOT a tanker, (I'm Infantry) but I have had the honor of serving in the 1st Armored Division, 3/35 Armor ('90 to '91) out of Bamberg during Desert Shield/Storm. The rest of my time was spent in the 82nd Airborne at Ft.Bragg and I managed to do a few things there as well.....one trip to JOTC with the 3/505 PIR in '89(and Operation Just Cause 5 months later), and then another JOTC tour in '92 with the 2/505 PIR. By far the fastest 4 years of my life.... Last edited by CParatrooper; 02-10-2004 at 06:20. |

| Enlisted Warrior ![]() | Thanks, man. I did not realize until you had said something that you had signed on a few months ago. Even still, January has been a busy month continuing on to February for this site. A few are worried that it will become a latrine for mil.com since the influx of new members originating from there. So far, i have witnessed many who were invited, post once or twice, and then either run back or get disinterested. Those who truely want something new and different, will stay. I have been back there recently. I have shaken my head to see only 7 of 50 online that i have actually recognized by name with even a few months membership. Same tired threads. Same lame points. The place attracts trolls to old topics like flies to....feces. Funny, they always get at least a few regular posters to respond, though. Each and every time. ![]() This place is like a brand new C-130, void of troops and equipment! You can spend hours checking out just half of it without ever coming back to the forums. It's cordial, it's orderly. The admins go out of their way to address your concerns. Now, if i can ever be able to get bold, italics, and images, i will be in hog heaven! Must be a Mac thing. ![]()

| Enlisted Warrior ![]() | Odanny--Oh i know where the options are, they simply just do not work for me. Clicking on them is like clicking on the space between your icons. Nothing happens. So, when i need something done bad enough, i let my wife log in from her side and do it for me. It's not all bad, though. I can get the games to work, and she can't! ![]()

![]() | I made it (-: I had some registration gremlins to work out "think it was my old e-mail addy" but finally got registered. My name is Robert McKee, Long hair extraordinaire. I'm 38 and attend ITT-Tech. I have been interested in Military history for some 20 years now. Mainly WWII and Vietnam. I am a huge PC wargaming junky and look forward to posting in the Gaming thread. I am married and have a 17 year old step-daughter who thank God is growing out of her rebellious stage. Recently I had the time of my life visiting Kobe Japan and always jump at the opportunity to talk about that beautiful country. After I graduate I hope to have a high paying job in ISS (Information Security Systems). Hey, a guy can dream, I'll see what reality has in store for me in a year and a half. Anyway, Hi all. Some of you I know, and others I look forward to getting to know. Robert |
