[Discussion] - New Awards?

Alreet all,
As you can see from everyone's postbit, the Awards system has been a huge hit. Now though, I am after your suggestions for awards.

Is there any particular award you would love to see? Do you think we should have a new set of awards for something? Or something completely different (but still to do with awards)?

One suggestion has been for service badges for those outside of the USA. Do you have any opinions on this, or is there a way you would like to see this done?

We have a lot of people from other countries ... and in the military. Could we have an award(s) for them?

There could be a general medal for the different branches of the military in different country.

I think it would be better if we could put something from their country if that isn't somehow a nightmare to find and do. Is there a site where they have the different emblems for the different braches of the military in each country? If there is, could we copy it?

This started me thinking when I saw a member from Switzerland and thought it would be nice if he could have some to show he was in their Army Reserves.

Great idea! I like it.

Also, could we have medals for different conflicts, i.e., WWII, Korea, Vietnam, etc? Or would this get out of hand?

My current thinking would be to add standard awards for those not from the USA - keep the current ones for USA'ers and for everyone outside the USA have a badge for Army, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard to cover everyone. If/when we get a lot of people from one country we could add badges for them then.

That sounds canny. Any suggestions on what to go on the award (both the little one on the postbit and the main one in the profile)?
