| Jr. Officer   |  Cherry Point air show needs a new theme Cherry Point air show needs a new theme Staff report Posted : Tuesday Dec 11, 2007 14:47:17 EST JACKSONVILLE, N.C. — Think you’re clever enough to come up with a theme for Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point’s 2008 air show? Here’s your shot. The North Carolina air station is taking suggestions through Dec. 27. Come up with the best six-word-or-less theme, and your brainchild will be on everything from posters to advertisements promoting the June air show. The winner will receive four VIP passes to the command chalet, a VIP parking pass, an autographed air show poster, and two T-shirts and hats. The contest is open to everyone. To learn more or submit an entry, go to the air station’s Web site. The winning theme will be announced Jan. 15.
